About me

Samantha Zane. She grew up in Loma Linda, California, and went to Loma Linda Academy K-12, graduating in 2022. She began dancing at the age of four with her little cousin at Redlands Festival Ballet in Redlands, California, now known as the School of International Ballet (SIB), where she studied under Cecilia Herring, Jennifer Schmidt, and Barbara Crafts. She received additional training through intensives with Boston Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet, Ellison Ballet, Ballet RI, and Texas Ballet Theater. After graduating from high school and dancing with SIB, she decided to continue her studies in college. As of spring 2023, she finished her first year in a BFA program with the Boston Conservatory at Berklee College of Music, studying Contemporary Dance. Ms. Zane is proudly excited to say she joined Texas Ballet Theater's Studio Training company for their 2024- 2025 season and will continue her training this upcoming 2025-2026 season! Samantha’s other productions included Nutcracker and Cinderella with Texas Ballet Theater, Westside Ballet’s 50th-anniversary Production of the Nutcracker with Tiler Peck, Lucia Connally, and Lyrica Woodruff, Nutcracker with Inland Dance Theater, The Match Girl, Don Quixote with Redlands Festival Ballet, and Cinderella with State Street Ballet at the Redlands Bowl. She’s done many roles like Clara, Mirlitons, Spanish Soloist, Mechanical Doll, Snow & Waltz Corp, Rat, Cook, Owl, Village Girl, Puppet, last but not least a Cinderella Double. When Miss. Zane is not dancing, she loves crafting, playing with her dogs, hanging out with friends and family, and going to Disneyland and Broadway Shows! Future goals in life she wants to accomplish someday: to dance with American Ballet Theater, and Opéra National De Paris, Dance on Broadway, and be a Disneyland Parade performer.
